Neath Raisbeck Golding Law appoint ex-Michelmores partner

Neath Raisbeck Golding Law is delighted to welcome Stephen McColgan to its Commercial Property team. Stephen is joining us from Top 100 law firm Michelmores.

Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge and over thirty years’ experience advising on a variety of transactional property roles based in Bristol and Somerset with national firms Clarke Willmott and Davies & Partners prior to his tenure with Michelmores.

When describing his area of expertise, Stephen commented, “My passion is in advising landowners, developers and investors in residential led and mixed-use schemes. I have experience working with several of the top 10 PLC housebuilders including on significant town extensions with multi-million-pound land assemblies; with medium sized SME design led housebuilding entrepreneurs to realise their projects; and for land owners, particularly those unfamiliar with the development process, to help them understand transactions with developers and investors to add value leading to sales of development land.”

Commenting on the appointment, Managing Partner Vicki Neath said, “we are really delighted that Stephen is joining us – he has exactly the mix of big-firm partnership experience and commercial property expertise that our firm is known for. For the last 11 years, I have worked hand in glove with consultant solicitors. Stephen fits the bill well and we are looking forward to introducing him to our clients. As our firm continues to grow, our clients can continue to expect responsive, high-quality support from experienced solicitors such as Stephen.”
