Experience/ Key Requirements:

We are looking for a commercial property solicitor to take a leading role in our commercial property department.

A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 0 – 5 years PQE;
  • Being comfortable with all Landlord and Tenant matters (e.g. leases, licenses, dispositions, and purchases);
  • Experience in dealing with properties of various types and uses, and managing a varied caseload;
  • Have a strong knowledge of the Bristol property market;
  • Ability to support property aspects on corporate transactions;
  • Ability to build strong and lasting relationships and networks with clients and others in the industry;
  • Preferably able to act for lenders and be comfortable dealing with financing commercial property transactions; and
  • A willingness to be involved in the marketing of the firm.

Role Description

We are looking for an ambitious lawyer, who is willing to embrace the team and our firm culture, to take a leading role in our commercial property department.
The role will involve day to day management of a variety of commercial property matters, from short commercial leases to high-value purchases as part of wider corporate transactions. This would include taking matters from the initial point of instruction through to post-completion,
Our commercial property solicitors are expected to deal with clients directly on a day-to-day basis, whether on-site, at the office, or remotely. Further, a successful candidate will be expected to develop new business opportunities, together with nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
Whilst the successful candidate will have appropriate expertise for the role, we are keen to add an ambitious character who is minded to develop themselves, the department, and the firm as a whole.
