GDPR Event
Joined by Brunel Professions and ITEC, Cook & Co hosted an event around GDPR on the 12th April at Ashton Gate Stadium.
Whilst the new data regulation is coming into force on the 25th May, many businesses seem still unsure of the subject and how to prepare for it. The aim of the event was to guide attendees with presentations discussing GDPR from different angles such as legal and insurance aspects as well as security and data management.
Gareth Raisbeck said “It has become apparent that, whilst businesses have heard of GDPR, there are many that are woefully ill-prepared. This seminar provided practical advice for some of those that need to bring their compliance up to scratch before 26th May”. Jordan Dowe continued “We at Cook & Co are here to help those businesses that have left things a little too late, or just need some guidance on the practicalities of the new law.”
