Allegations of causing or permitting a driver to use a vehicle without insurance
Cook and Co Road Traffic expert Jeremy Woodcraft recently successfully defended a business against two allegations of causing or permitting it’s driver to use a vehicle without appropriate insurance in place.
The business had insurance for the vehicle but had failed to properly check the terms and conditions that precluded certain types of activity. If you are an individual operating a business such a lapse could cost you your driving licence and a significant fine.
